Do All Clinical Studies Provide Valid Information?
From time to time, the public hears the results of scientific studies as they are reported in the news. Most of the time the quality of these studies is not discussed leaving the listener to believe that the information is valid and important. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. There are good scientific studies and not-so-good studies. This section will discuss three commonly performed studies and explain how they are done and most importantly, how strong they are in providing useful information. The three types of studies are:
