Transurethral Microwave Thermotherapy (TUMT)
Among the minimally invasive therapies for men with urinary difficulties is TUMT or transurethral microwave thermotherapy. The goal is to heat the prostate cells to a high enough temperature that the cells die and the obstruction decreases. How good is this therapy?
